Animal Chiropractic Improves Well-Being and Performance

Picture

Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy, also known as Animal Chiropractic, relieves restrictions in the joints and spinal column that may be creating discomfort, pain, impaired function of internal organs, and decreased blood and nerve supply to vital tissues.

Sonnia, a 12 year-old paint mare, had her first chiropractic adjustment with Dr. Lisa in late May. She competed in a barrel racing event the following evening, and her rider was happy to report that "Sonnia took her fastest time yet...she felt great...thank you so much!"

Testimonial - Satchmo's family

Once we got our awesome new puppy we were eager to find someone who could help us make sense of all the Thou Shalls and Thou Shall Nots regarding dog care. Google sure made everything seem way more complicated than when we had puppies in our childhood homes many many decades ago. Common sense told us there is something better than the pharmaceutical-company-driven ways of both preventing and treating doggie illness and Dr. Lisa was wonderful in helping educate us so we could decide how we wanted to proceed.

In a warm and non-judgmental way she provided information for us to consider and she definitely encouraged us to keep asking questions. Dr. Lisa walked us through everything from various feeding approaches to things to know regarding vaccinations. She was especially interested in ensuring that our three kids, ages 10 to 14, were part of the learning experience..We are thrilled to have found Dr. Lisa and we know that our pup is going to benefit from her vet training, years of experience, and especially her holistic insights. How wonderful to have her right here in northwest lower Michigan! -Satchmo's family

Testimonial - Larry's family

We adopted Larry from the Flint rescue. He was very underweight, had worms, and multiple wounds on his body. Lisa has been so responsive in helping to nurse him back to health. When she visits she is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She takes the time to hear all of our questions and emotions. It is refreshing and reassuring to find a health care professional that is not on a tight schedule.

Lisa has been very responsive when we have reached out with worries. As Larry was getting over his worms we would send daily poop texts. It was so helpful that Lisa was able to guide us through the normal process of Larry expelling the worms (which seemed like a Stephen King novel at times!) We would strongly recommend Lisa
to anyone to who needs a vet!

Spring 2017 - Following homeopathic treatment and nutritional therapy

Talk Softly...And Carry A Big Stick

Homeopathic treatment for most illnesses does not require daily medication, but it is very powerful. Pictured here, Peyton demonstrates how strong she is following homeopathic treatment for a debilitating health condition that caused her toenails to break easily. After 3 homeopathic treatments, nutritional supplementation, and frequent pedicures, Peyton has made a rapid return to health.

A Special Thank You Note...

Dr. Melling,
Thank you for the time spent with us last Friday. I can't tell you how excited and optimistic Tracy and I feel about having your help keeping our girls healthy and happy. You answered all of our questions and laid to rest many of the concerns we have been struggling with over the past few years.

After leaving your office, the girls enjoyed a nice long walk on Good Harbor beach to start off a jam-packed weekend of exploring all the paths, trails and beaches we could find...I think all of us agree that was the best trip to the vet ever! Two very happy, well adjusted dogs slept all the way home on Sunday like they had spent the weekend at a health spa.

We have started the girls on their newly tuned diet and it seems to be going well so far. Lucy is embracing the changes a little better than Sadie but, with a little bone broth if necessary, everyone's plate gets licked clean. We will be looking at our schedules for the upcoming month(s) to see when we can schedule the girls for a follow-up and will be back in touch soon. Thank you again for everything!

Sincerely,
Tony S.
